About Burton Homebuilders

Burton Home Builders began in 2014 as JMH. Owner and founder John Hohlt spent years building homes before jumping at the opportunity to start his own company, servicing Washington County, Austin County, and surrounding areas in Texas.

His vision for the company was simple—to create custom, legacy homes that balanced the dreams of the homeowner with the foundation of quality and generational stability.

Since his early days working in construction, John has always had a deep passion for building and takes great pride in creating a home custom to his clients’ needs. He aims to bring this passion into every build, remodel, and design. At Burton Home Builders, we offer craftsmanship in design, craftsmanship in construction, and craftsmanship in every day living.

Owner

John began working in construction from an early age and developed a passion for building homes. He and his wife, Brianna, feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to build for dozens of clients over the years. They have appreciated the love and support from their community.

Kathy Duran

Office Admin

Kathy has worked for builders for 10 years. Her love for building shows through the dedication and hard work she puts into each of her clients.

Keith Wisnieske

Foreman

Keith serves as foreman for Burton Home Builders. He loves ensuring quality in a home from start to finish.
